WHY RAISED ACCESS FLOOR
Raised access floor are widely used in modern office building, and in specialized areas such as IT data centers, command centers, computer rooms with a high requirement to route mechanical services and cables, wiring and electrical supply. Such flooring can be installed at varying heights from 2 inches to heights above 4 feet to suit service that may be accommodated beneath. Underfloor air distribution is associated with raised access floor which has been done since the 1970s in data centers and becoming a more common way to cool a building.
